January 1st – Teen Kindness Ambassadors from across Southern California were joined by inductees of the first-ever Kindness is Free Hall of Fame on the Kindness is Free Float in the 136th annual Tournament of Roses Parade. January 1st – 2nd – Hundreds of spectators started the New Year with Kindness is Free by taking the pledge and seeing our Kindness is Free Float up close alongside all parade floats during Floatfest in Pasadena.
